The three ages of a woman
In fact, in most of the world MothersDay is celebrated in May… But every day of the year there is a good reason to remember that #motherhood is a gift from nature and what a charm it’s to be a woman.
Gustav Klimt expresses it very well through the work “The Three Ages of Women” – of which you can see a detail here
☞ Do you know…
‣ In the original #painting there are three figures (as the title suggests) an elderly woman in the background and the two protagonists in our focus: a young #mother holding her baby in arms. In the grace of their respective positions, the reclined adult head and the total abandonment of the daughter on the mother’s breast, we feel the sense of #protection of one and the total #trust of the other. In this way, the author imparts that intimate and satisfying feeling of complete fulfillment, own only to mother and daughter, even to the spectator.
