Sagrada Familia
Five naves, twelve bell towers, splendid stained glass light reflecting windows and a colored brick facade, as #Gaudí imagined it: the Sagrada Familia is considered today one of the architectural symbols of Barcelona

The project was initially assigned to the #architect Villar who quit due to misunderstandings with the client. It was 1883 when Antoni Gaudí, a young and inexperienced Spanish architect, was ready to take the #opportunity that would have changed his career forever
·
Defined as “the #Church of the People”, the building was supposed to represent the religious spirit that united all of Spain but, as we know, Gaudí’s titanic project it’s still an open construction site far from completion, therefore it has become the symbol of unfinished #perfection
