Although the museum comprises 14 sites throughout France, the most famous is the original location at the #JardindesPlantes
It was founded in 1635 by by King Louis XIII and was originally conceived as the royal #garden of medicinal plants
In 1793, during the French revolution, the building was formally turned into a museum.
It’s the perfect place to celebrate the #International Day of Families, on May 15 every year!
